Obama: "I'm not just blaming Bush!"

This funny little piece has been making the rounds in chain emails. Thought I'd share in case anyone hasn't seen it:
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs points out, "President Obama has been forced to clean up the mess left him by Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Adams, Jackson, Van Buren, Harrison, Tyler, Polk, Taylor, Fillmore, Pierce, Buchanan, Lincoln, Johnson, Grant, Hayes, Garfield, Arthur, Cleveland, Harrison, Cleveland, McKinley, Roosevelt, Wilson, Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and George W. Bush."

  1. Yes, and for all his efforts, he is just making a bigger cock of things than ever, with the national debt spiraling out of control and heading into the territories held by Greece and Spain. As much as I truly admire GW, his efforts to reach across the isle and work with Democrates like Ted 'Let's Spend It' Kennedy, the through the bank at the flooding after Katrina, and much of the compassion that was done on our dime in his compassionate conservatism drove our debt upward at an alarming rate, from 5.6 trillion to 9.7 trillion. But all that pales in comparison to the mighty O, who is projected to more than double that in four years, and that is before he has the Feds begin paying on everyone's healthcare. Who is going to pay for all his spending? And what will it mean when we will no longer be able to sell treasury bills? How will we finance our spending if no one is willing to take on that risk?
