I loved how as people realized he was singing our national anthem, they began to rise, pulled hats off their heads, put a hand over their hearts and listened to the words..and they were very stirring words, indeed. It is our heritage. One does not have to be Jew or Christian to be an American, but to be considered an honest person, one must recognize that this is our national heritage.
